Description
|
The Web Content Developer will work in the MLI Web Development Team to create attractive, useful websites that showcase our custom web applications (such as discussion boards, chat rooms, online polls, etc.). He/she will also create website templates that other people can use to easily set up their own sites using MLI web applications.
|
|
Responsibilities
|
- Design websites that showcase our web applications and draw significant traffic.
- Design templates that use our web applications.
- Work with selected customers to create customized websites.
|
|
Required Skills
|
- Experience in website development
- Thorough, demonstrated knowledge of HTML
- Strong sense of graphic and web design principles, especially user inferface
- Significant experience using Photoshop and other graphics programs
- Ability to work well in small groups, and solo, in a minimally structured environment
|
|
Strongly Desired Skills
|
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with CGI scripts or other web-based programs
|
|
Rather Usefull Skills
|
- Experience with XML or XSL
- Experience with Cascading Style Sheets
- Experience with Flash
- Basic knowledge of UNIX
